Committee Summary:These trees have been planted into Silva Cells. Each tree has about 8 cells positioned in a herringbone pattern. Above the rootball is a geofabric, approx 100mm of screenings and then 50mm of Permapave. Excess water in the hole is harvested using aggie drains. The ring in the Permapave around the trunk of the tree is flexible and designed to be removed as the tree matures. Lighting is also positioned within the planting hole.
Planting Date:February/March 2009.
Maintenance Requirements:Formative pruning.
