Indian Summer® Lagerstroemia indica x L. fauriei 'Zuni'
Evaluation 2
| Evaluation Date: | 24 May, 2012. |
| Evaluators: | Claudia Green. |
| Committee Summary: | These trees are both fairly healthy considering the very limited planting space. They are a good choice for this location as the planting hole only allows for very limited growth and this species won't grow too large. |
| Management Inputs: | None apparent. |
| Maintenance Requirements: | Remove suckers. |

Evaluation 1
| Evaluation Date: | 15 Mar, 2007. |
| Evaluators: | Stewart Campbell, Tim Hart, Ian Brown. |
| Committee Summary: | Small cut out planting of this cultivar at both ends of a hotel in Nicholson Street. Specimens have metal guards, however they are regular Lagerstroemia tree varieties. The impact in this location is significant, with very good blossom and leaf colour. Even allowing for the guards these specimens are growing well. Both trees are placed on the corners of the hotel which aids their growth. |
| Management Inputs: | Initial two year watering cycle undertaken and tip pruning. |
| Maintenance Requirements: | None observed. |
