This planting is simply failing to establish and perform with trees showing poor form, several are dying and none are stable despite considerable caliper size on the older trees. This failure and lack of root establishment suggests the soil is simply to compacted and heavy for this species to develop a proper root system. (eval. tree at no. 12). Container Size: 45L. Planting Date: 29/10/2009. Maintenance Requirements: Consider soil amelioration to allow for proper root establishment, otherwise consider replacing with more suitable species.
