Evaluation 1
| Evaluation Date: | 24 Feb, 2003. |
| Evaluators: | Nick Archer, David Grant, Tim Hart, Meg Jones, Ian Rogers. |
| Committee Summary: | The committee were impressed that the majority of these trees had not only survived, but prospered on minimal water, as well as having been planted from 20 cm containers (< 1m at planting). This site highlights the rapid establishment rates that can be achieved with minimal input from council staff when using this cultivar. David Grant (City of Ballarat) also commented on the intensity of autumn colour these trees produced. |
| Planting Date: | Winter, 2000. |
| Management Inputs: | Watered for one year only. |
| Maintenance Requirements: | Formative pruning. |
Technical information
| Foliage Density: | Medium to high. |
| Foliage Colour: | Typical for cultivar. |
| Support Notes: | Staked and tied. |
| Visible Pests: | Pest and disease free. |
| Limb Structure: | Some co-dominent leaders present, otherwise good. |
